Women helping women is part of what we do at the International Women In Business Dusseldorf. www.iwibdus.com
This week we are launching our first ever online event because of the recent coronavirus crisis.
The women helping women for this event is many faceted. Here are a few examples:
Making the experience magical for your listeners
We have Helene, who is a Coach for Coaches and she will talk about her business where she can support coaches into better entrepreneurs. She was great at the dress rehearsal and showed us around her secret lair where she has cameras, lights and microphones to make the online experience even better for her customers.
Showing the best version of you
I have been coaching some of these women and talking to them about showing the best version of them. This can be by talking more slowly. Pausing after your points so that the listener can digest what you are saying and make sure your content is interesting .
Bing authentic can be about showing your vulnerability. By telling your authentic story, the highs and lows, we can see that we are all the same. We all need help and we all can offer help. By sharing our strengths we are stronger as a whole. Diana was inspiring with her contribution about accepting that we are good enough just as we are.
The women at the dress reherahsl were nervous. Were worried about the technology and their presentations! We asked the group to give feedback to each person so they could improve their presentation. The group were so supportive of each person. They offered what they loved about the presentation as well as constructive feedback.
Being supportive and building up each other rather than tearing us down, is the new normal!
